Terms and Conditions


1. Introduction

This website is operated by Crafty You Ltd. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Crafty You Ltd trading as Crafty You Crafty Me. We offer this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our services, including purchasing products (“Products”) and booking in to workshops (“Workshops”) and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”).  These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.


2. Your Status


By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you warrant that:
(a) You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and
(b) You are at least 18 years old.


3. Booking of Workshops

Workshops refer to both indoor workshops and craft in the park sessions.
 

To book a place on one of our workshops please book your slot via the website. Your booking will be confirmed automatically and finer details sent to the email you booked with in the week before the workshop.

 

Unless specifically advertised as a children’s workshop then our workshops are suitable adults and children over 10. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult.

4. Workshop Cancellation


We regret that refunds are not available on our workshops. Workshop bookings are eligible for date changes or exchanges up to 14 days in advance of workshop date.  You must inform us in writing for any changes you wish to make.  While we will endeavour to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee a suitable workshop at a date which suits all parties will be available. If you do need to cancel you are welcome to send another person in your place instead. Please advise us of you replacement’s name and contact details as soon as possible.

Due to the outside nature of craft in the park, as a result of inclement weather it may be necessary to cancel or postpone a workshop. We will give you as much prior notice as possible and will refund your booking payment in this event. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any liability for travel or other costs.

In exceptional circumstances, we may unfortunately have to cancel a Workshop due to our own sickness/ availability. We will give you as much prior notice as possible and will move your booking to a mutually agreeable date or refund your booking payment if you prefer. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any liability for travel or other costs.

COVID-19: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we may have to cancel a Workshop due to government restrictions or our own self isolation. We will give you as much prior notice as possible and will move your booking to a mutually agreeable date or refund your booking payment if you prefer. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any liability for travel or other costs.

If you are self-isolating or showing any symptoms of COVID-19 we ask that you do not attend your workshop. In this case we will provide a credit note to the value of your workshop or will move your booking to another workshop date.
 

5. Pricing


The price of Products and Workshops will be as quoted on our site, except in cases of obvious error.

All prices are exclusive of delivery which will be calculated at the time of check out.

We are only able at this time to trade in the UK using pounds sterling.


We are under no obligation to provide the Product or reserve a Workshop place at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation or Reservation Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a miss-pricing..

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

6. Workshops - Our Liability

We warrant that the Workshop service shall be provided using reasonable skill and care. 

​

Where we have contracted to provide a Workshop our liability is limited to the price paid for the Workshop and any losses that are a foreseeable consequence of us breaking the agreement.

Losses are foreseeable where they could be contemplated by you and us at the time your order is accepted by us. This does not include or limit in any way our liability:

​

(a) For death or personal injury caused by our negligence;

(b) Under section 2(3) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987; 

(c) For fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

(d) For any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude, our liability.

We are not responsible for indirect losses which happen as a side effect of the main loss or damage and which are not foreseeable by you and us, including but not limited to:

(a) Loss of income or revenue

(b) Loss of business

(c) Loss of profits or contracts

7. Written Communications

​

Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications we send to you should be in writing.  When using our site, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic.  We will contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on our website.  For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.  This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Notices

​

All notices given by you to us must be given to Crafty You Crafty Me at hello@craftyyoucraftyme.com.  We may give notice to you at either the e-mail or postal address you provide to us when placing an order.  Notice will be deemed received and properly served immediately when posted on our website, 24 hours after an e-mail is sent, or three days after the date of posting of any letter.  In proving the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that such letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an e-mail, that such e-mail was sent to the specified e-mail address of the addressee.

9. Events beyond our control

​

We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver Products you have ordered, or supply any services, or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to Products delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.

10. Invalidity

​

If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.

11. Privacy 

​

You acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of our Privacy Policy

​

Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

​

The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.

13. Entire Agreement

​

These terms and conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and privacy policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of Products and Workshops to you by us. Nothing said by any sales person on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any services offered for sale by us. Save for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, we shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.

14. Discounts and Offers

​

From time to time we offer discounts and price reductions on our Products and Services.  These are at our discretion and can be removed at any time. All codes are bound by a limited time frame and cannot be redeemed after stated end date.  Only one discount code may be used per order, and discounts are not applicable to products already reduced.  We reserve the right to change these T&Cs as necessary.  We reserve the right to withdraw any offers at any time.

15. Prize Draws and Give Aways

 

  1. Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Crafty You Ltd and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

  2. By entering a competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  3. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via our website and social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook.

  4. Closing date for entry will be stated on each competition. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

  5. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

  6. The rules of the competition and how to enter are stated on the relevant post, which will be referred to on any external social media posts.

  7. By entering a competition you are agreeing that we may contact you in relation to the competition you have entered. 

  8. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend any competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control.

  9. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

  10. The prize for each promotion will be made clear on the announcement post and any social media promotions of the competition.

  11. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

  12. Winner will be selected by random and contacted via the media of entry or email dependent on the method of entry.

16. Delivery and Returns

​

Delivery is currently limited to the UK. Items are posted with Royal Mail second class. 

 

Kits are packaged in paper and card packaging.

Items are aimed to be shipped within 1-3 working days to the address provided at the time of order. We accept no liability for any delay resulting from something which is the responsibility of the Royal Mail.​

An order may be cancelled anytime from order up to 14 days after receipt of your items. If items have not yet been dispatched a refund will be arranged. If items have been dispatched a refund will be processed within 14 days of return of the items in the original condition. Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt. If there is no fault with the item then return postage costs sit with the customer. If there is a fault with the item then the items should be returned and on acceptance of the fault the refund and return postage will be processed.
