A Little About Us

Hello and thank you for visiting our site. I'm Sarah; the founder, creator and all round doer at Crafty You Crafty Me. When the opportunity came up to follow my passion for craft I grabbed it with both hands. I've loved crafting all of my life and can't wait for you to give our kits a go.

I am proud to design and make all our craft kits here in Derbyshire. Supporting and collaborating with other British businesses is important to me and I am honoured that our kits are stocked in shops across the UK.

Sustainability

Sustainability is one of the core aims of our business. For each and every kit we create we look to use the most natural and eco friendly materials available to us. Our packaging is fully recyclable, we are always looking for new ways to improve and we are committed to reducing plastic use in our craft kits and packaging.

Some examples of our sustainable craft kits designs include, providing eco friendly, reusable and biodegradable felting mats in our needle felting kits and using 100% wool in our felting kits and wool blend felt in our sewing kits. For our mosaic kits we have developed our unique 'sticky blanks', removing the need for pva glue and the plastic packaging associated with it.

We are continuously looking at ways to improve the sustainability of our kits and factor this into all our new kits. Over the next year we intend that any new kit ranges will be plastic free whilst remaining true to the craft. If you have any ideas on how we can improve the sustainability of our products we'd love to hear them - hello@craftyyoucraftyme.com.

In the Press

We are honoured to have had our story and products featured in the media including on BBC and ITV News and in the Derby Telegraph, as well as receiving fantastic support from Marketing Derby as a Rising Star winner. Theo Pathitis has also recognised our business as part of his business network.

We were also delighted to be asked to feature on Create and Craft TV, you can see our kits as presented below.
